Good news has just arrived for the Overwatch gameplay fans. The maker of this exciting game: Blizzard has recently confirmed that the next season of this tremendous game will begin from December 1, 2016. Currently, the game is running on its second season.

Overwatch Season 2 is set to conclude on November 24, 2016 at midnight. According to a report by VG 24/7, Blizzard has taken this step to bring on the next season of this game within the short interval of a week, just because of the flooding range of requests gathered from the gaming community for shorter downtime between its thrilling seasons.

As per the statements made by its principal designer Scott Mercer, Blizzard is also elevating the game's skill sets to a new level with Overwatch skill ratings and tiers for its Season 3, As for the beginning part, the players will be able to debut in season 3 with lower skill sets and then gradually reaching upwards to the higher position. According to IGN, Blizzard has developed this strategy only because they want the players to get upgraded by their skills and techniques, unlike in Season 2, where many of the potential players started with Platinum and Gold level and then later turning down to Bronze and Silver quotas.

Mercer himself stated in the Overwatch Battle.net: "We're also going to initially tune your [skill rating] to be slightly lower to start," Mercer said. "In turn, fewer players should start the season having their skill rating drastically drop despite having close to even wins and losses."

Currently, the game is played by more than 20 million global gamers and the popularity of the game is getting doubled, time to time. The changes in the skill sets are just Blizzard's strategy to bring on new skill development process for the gaming champs, which they started implementing from Overwatch's second season. As already the skill sets and different tiers have attracted a dense number of players towards this game, Mercer believes that Season 3 will be another hit among the gaming geeks in a similar manner.
