According to many potential sources, Apple is preparing to unveil a revolutionary product coupled with never before attributes in its smartphone lineup. This upcoming next-gen instance o iPhone is highly expected to debut in 2017.

According to a report by Forbes, Apple may not bring any 'S" model for its current stunners iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which usually the company used to carry out as a legacy just after a year of revealing a new version of its iPhone flagship. But, breaking out of this tradition, the company may be launching the next-gen edition of iPhone on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of this lineup. However, it is still not clear that whether the forthcoming version will be called iPhone 8 or else it would name as something completely different to it.

As far as the specifications and features are concerned, Apple is highly hinted to leave its conventional outlook which it followed with iPhone 6s and its successor iPhone 7. The device is said to come in three variants of 4.7-inch, 5-inch, and 5.5-inch.

According to MenXP, the smartphone will sport an edge-to-edge display with a spectacular front panel entirely made of glass as well as the back. A metal frame is said to hold the front and back panel together. Both the glass facing panels are highly speculated to be made by Biel and Lens.

Some potential sources even indicate that the 5.5-inch variant will come with an AMOLED display. However, Apple is said to replace its traditional home button with an integrated fingerprint sensor on its front display panel. The next-gen iPhone is expected to debut within the second quarter of 2017. However, buyers have to wait till any official confirmation comes from the tech giant's end.
