John Mayer and Katy Perry's were both invited at Drake's birthday bash this month. Such meeting caused a stir among media sources who are looking into the possibility of the ex-lovers collaborating again for some future music projects.

The two had once collaborated in John Mayer's Who You Love, a song reminiscent of their on-and-off relationship that started in 2012 and had finally ended in June 2015. Since then, the ex-lovers never spoke badly and had remained friendly exes despite the songstress' rift with Taylor Swift who also briefly dated Mayer.

In an interview by E! News during The Jazz Foundation's 15th annual "A Great Night in Harlem" on Thursday. The hit maker expressed his openness to such idea.

"If the right song came around, you know. I look at great musicians-you write the right song, you send it to somebody, but I don't have anything in mind at the moment."

The possible collaboration, however, may not mean a possibility to rekindle their romance as the Roar singer is openly dating Orlando Bloom with the relationship going "serious" as the Lord of the Rings actor had reportedly already introduced the singer to his five-year old son, Flynn.

A source from Mail Online also said that the meeting between Flynn and Katy Perry has been successful with the singer being vocal on how she liked the kid saying he is "cute" and "well-behaved."

As to Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, sources claimed that they are a "very chill pair," are doing 'really well' in their relationship and have been seen countless times to be laughing together and enjoying each other's company.

In fact, the actor, is of course, present during the "Rise" singer's 32nd late 70s Grease-themed birthday bash in October 25. In photos posted on Instagram as quoted in Mail Online, the singer celebrated her special day with chums and in one pic, she planted a kiss on Orlando Bloom's face. So sweet!
