Miley Cyrus has come a long way since her days as a Disney channel star and with an edgier haircut and style, Kelly Osbourne said that the singer's reinvention makes her new album "amazing."

Osbourne, a co-host on E! Fashion Police, spoke to Hollywood Life about the singer and what she knows about the 2013 album Cyrus is working on.

"You'll love it," Osbourne said. "It's such a departure from everything you've ever seen from Miley before. It is the grown up Miley Cyrus."

Osbourne attributed the change to Cyrus coming into her adult years and experiencing real love with her fiance, Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. The couple met on the set of their 2010 film, The Last Song, and got engaged in the summer of 2012.

"It takes a strong woman to step outside the boundaries and she has done it," Osbourne added. "I think you'll like it."

It is unclear if Cyrus' new album was inspired by Hemsworth, but she does have a new track with Will.i.am that includes lyrics hinting to a lover. "Boy, you can be my lollipop, let me lick you up," she sings in Fall Down. "You pick me up when I fall down."

Cyrus graced the cover of V Magazine's May 2013 issue and in her interview with the publication, she talked about what fans can expect from her upcoming album. She is hard at work with producer Pharrell Williams and said listeners will experience something completely different from her this time around.

"I put this record before everything, and I've never done that with anything. I've put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it," the former Hannah Montana star said. "I can never say that I don't love Party in the U.S.A. and that I'm not appreciative of it...It's what gives you everything that you have. I would never take it back."
