Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sold their New Orleans house as divorce proceedings between the superstar couple continue.

Pitt and Jolie have gotten rid of their home in the New Orleans French Quarter. The selling price? $4.9 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"It sold for a very fair price," said listing agent Nina Killeen. "It's a good deal for both parties. They're happy with the outcome."

The now divorcing couple first bought the home back in 2007 during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Pitt had helped establish the Make It Right Foundation, which pledged to provide better housing for those in the Lower Ninth Ward.

This is one of many issues settled so far between Pitt and Jolie. Everything seems to have gone well thus far, based on what the public has seen anyway, with the pair agreeing to extend their temporary custody agreement of their six kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The agreement has Jolie retaining full custody of the kids with Pitt getting visits and being subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

There are rumors, however, that Pitt has been pretty torn apart about the divorce - especially in regard to their kids.

"The longer this goes on, the harder it is for Brad," a source told Women's Day recently, via Yahoo Australia. "He feels like his kids are slipping out of his grasp, and it's breaking his heart."

Pitt has allegedly reached out to many people in his life: "He spends all day and half the night calling and texting people, asking for help and advice."

As the divorce continues onward, Pitt is apparently focused on his children over his career in the entertainment world.

"What's happened has really hit home for Brad. He [realizes] his children are the most important things in his life," the source said. "He doesn't care about his career or anything else anymore - being with his kids is all that matters to him now."
