Carrie Underwood is reportedly on board with welcoming another baby with husband Mike Fisher, but only if the hockey player agrees to quit his career and embark on a new life as a stay-at-home dad.

According to a new report, Underwood issued the baby ultimatum to the Nashville Predators captain, who was far from on board with the scenario.

“Carrie and Mike have been at each other’s throats for ages over when to bring another little one into their family. Mike is at his wit’s end,” a source explained to Radar Online on Wednesday. “When he and Carrie married, they both agreed on four kids! But neither is getting any younger … Carrie seems more interested in touring and recording."

Underwood and Fisher welcomed their first child, son Isaiah, in February 2015 and less than one year later, she began her Storyteller Tour, which concludes on Nov. 28.

“Mike has been pressing to start trying for the baby … but Carrie keeps making excuses,” the source told Radar.

In turn, Fisher reportedly demanded Underwood agree to create a pregnancy time line.

“Carrie did not appreciate being pushed into a corner, but she finally agreed to baby number two — under the condition that Mike retire and be a stay-at-home dad,” the insider claimed.

Although a second child is up for debate, the insider claimed Underwood would likely get her way as she wears the pants in their relationship.

“Carrie rules the roost, so she’s likely to win this battle,” said the source. “Poor Mike had no idea when he and Carrie married that she might turn him into a house husband!”
