Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's Divorce Settled

Finally, the divorce between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon has been settled days after James Packer split with Mariah. Cannon and Carey married in 2008 and divorced in 2014 and have two kids Monroe and Moroccan who are five years. The divorce between Mariah and Cannon is like a dream and according to Carey  she never thought she would have babies with someone then get divorced.

Rumors have it that Cannon had been holding the papers and Mariah had been trying persuede him to sign them for over a year but  Nick was reluctant  doing it; remarks which he has disowned. ET News caught up with him and this is how the "The American Gots Talent "host defended himself,

"I wish it was that easy where you can just sign something and say, 'Oh, I'm done,' but it's a lot of things that go with that that are beyond my control,". "The only thing that's important to me is my children. I want what's best for them. I believe my ex-feels the exact same way."

Before the marriage, the former couple had signed a prenuptial agreement which means that each couple is entitled to keep the individual earnings earned during the marriage period. The couples also struck a joint custody agreement which means that neither will pay the other for child upkeep.

According to TMZ, the news of  divorce settlement came days before James Packer had dumped Mariah over some disagreement .The   "We Belong Together" singer had just said " I do", on January  to James Packer  and were planning their wedding in the New Year when a fight broke out terminating their relationship while in Greece for a vacation.

Despite nailing the last hammer on their divorce, Mariah and Cannon seem  friendly knitted together as they were spotted recently in a Halloween Party together with their kids Moroccan and Monroe.
