Tonight's episode of Saturday Night Live is perhaps the most anticipated of the year considering the events of the past week and the caliber of the host.

Dave Chappelle will be hosting this episode of Saturday Night Live, marking his epic return to the public spotlight. His hosting gig also comes as a huge moment in American history, having just elected Donald Trump as the next president. All this, combined with musical guest A Tribe Called Quest should make for an incredible evening of television.

Chappelle has not appeared on such a public stage since he quit his wildly successful sketch series Chappelle's Show back in 2005. The comedian has since been performing stand-up shows, including a stint at Radio City Music Hall in 2014.

As for the musical guest, A Tribe Called Quest has similarly been out of the spotlight for many years. They have a new album out called We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, their first studio album since 1998's The Love Movement.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen how Saturday Night Live will deal with Trump's election and Hillary Clinton's loss. Alec Baldwin, who has played Trump since the season premiere, is not a main cast member on the show and it should be interesting to see if he will be able to return in future episodes.

Saturday Night Live begins at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and lasts until 1 a.m. ET/PT.

If you are unable to watch SNL on television and want to watch Chappelle's episode live, you can try out NBC.com/Live and log in with your cable subscription.

If you do not have a cable subscription, you can also try SlingTV, which offers a live stream of NBC and many other channels. Choose the Sling Blue option and start your free seven-day trial.

Of course, most of the sketches should be available online for free on YouTube, NBC.com and Hulu Sunday morning, so you can always wait until then.
