There has been quite a lot of news related to X-Men over the last few weeks. Mainly because of the new movie called Logan that is about to be released. Fans figured out that Wolverine may die in the movie and that is quite the change. However, that may not be the only change.

This all started when the statistics of X-Men Apocalypse were calculated and it was reported by IGN that the movie was underperforming. This is quite the shock as the X-Men franchise does not seem to be declining. 

Another big giveaway was the fact that the various actors loved and seen in the movies for many years are coming to the end of their contracts. This includes people such as Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy. 

After some time it was reported that 20th Century Fox is trying to rework the entire franchise. This indicates a lot of changes coming towards the franchise and thus, the fans. 

It was also reported by the IGN News Youtube video that the entire series will be new and new scripts are written. Brian Singer will not be directing as well. There are also various talks going on regarding famous trios. 

Of course the biggest hint for this is that after the contracts ended and after it was confirmed that Fox was going to rework the franchise, there was immediate changes seen with Logan.

Wolverine dying and X-23, a new Wolverine being introduced are both perhaps some of the biggest cast changes that can happen in X-Men. So it is likely that various future X-Men movies are going to experience minimal or massive changes in the future. 

Some people are even commenting in various places regarind how the X-men may be seen with some other Marvel characters in the future. This sure would open up many possibilities but no information about that has been out yet.
