After a lot of promotion and speculation about how it would turn out, fans can finally see a real first look at Disney's live action remake of Beauty and the Beast, which will hit theaters in March 2017.

The adaptation, which stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline ad Maurice, Josh Gad as Lefou, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, has been in the works for a while at Disney, but now, it's become more real than ever with the trailer.

The 2 minute clip debuted earlier today, and shows the classic tale (originally released by Disney in animated form in 1991 and based off of a French fairytale) receiving a beautiful modern twist with lots of detail.

Disney has found some success with their live-action remakes in recent years, including Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent (a twist on Sleeping Beauty), Cinderella and The Jungle Book. Also planned for release in the future are live-action remakes of Mulan (tentatively slotted for 2018), The Little Mermaid, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Lion King, Cruella De Vil ( a remake of 101 Dalmations that is set to star Emma Stone), Aladdin, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Dumbo and Winnie the Pooh.
