As Black Friday creeps closer, shoppers are left comparing the ads of their favorite stores to see where they will get the best deals this year. 

Some shoppers will immediately focus their sights on electronics retailer Best Buy, assuming the chain will be offering the best deals in technology. And while Best Buy does have some killer deals for when they open their doors at 5 p.m., those who are strictly looking for tablets will find great deals at a wide variety of other retailers as well.  

Some of the best deals on tablets this year are actually at Best Buy's competitors. Target and Walmart also have comparable deals, though Best But isn't entirely out of the running, with several fantastic deals of their own as well.  

Whether they're just offering the devices for a cheaper price or providing extra incentives alongside it, the following deals are some of the best this Black Friday: 

On iPad Models:  
 

1. iPad Mini 2 32 GB: Walmart has the best deal on this model, offering it for $199.00 

2. 9.7" iPad Pro: Prices at Target will start at $449.00 for this model, which seems steep, but is actually a savings of $150.99 from the usual purchase price 

3. iPad Air 2: Those who purchase this at Best Buy will save $125.00  

On Samsung Galaxy Tabs: 
 

1. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 7" LTE Android Tablet: You can't beat Walmart's price of $69.00  

2. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6": Best Buy is offering this for $149.99, an $80 savings off the usual price 

3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0": Save $70 when you purchase this at Best Buy for $129.99 

4. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1": Again, Best Buy triumphs here with a $199.99 asking price that is a savings of $100 

5. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7" 8GB Tablet: Staples will sell this for $99.99 

On Kindle Fire Tabs:  
 

1. Amazon Fire 7" 8GB: The model is going for $33.33 at Best Buy 

2. Amazon Fire HD 8" 16GB: Get this for $59.99 at Best Buy 

3. Amazon Fire 7" Kids Edition Wi-Fi Tablet with Bumper $74.99 at Target
