Newest Internet Beauty Trend: Wearing Eyelashes Upside Down

Close

Putting on false eyelashes is a lesson in witchcraft: you have to dab on glue, then use tweezers (that get very creepily close to your eyeball) to apply the set of lashes. Then, you pray one of them doesn't poke you in the eyeball.

To further complicate things, makeup artist Pablo Rodriguez has just transformed how we wear falsies. Namely, he suggests wearing them upside down.

While the idea of wearing eyelashes flipped over backwards sound like crazy talk at first, even I have to admit that they look...well, they look kind of pretty. Actually, they look pretty undeniably badass. They're spider-y and pieced apart to look kind of ethereal and weird.

Would you do this to your lashes?
