Lisa Lynn Masters, an actress best known for roles on several popular shows including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Gossip Girl has died at the age of 52.

According to People, Masters was discovered in a hotel room closet in Nuevo Mundo hotel in Lima, Peru on Tuesday, after she had reportedly hung herself with her skirt. Anti-depression medications were also found in the room.

It is unclear when Masters had actually passed away, or what prompted her to apparently take her own life.

Friends of the actress have already set up a GoFundMe page to help her husband, William, with the expenses of her funeral as well as what he will accrue later on, and the goal of $30,000 has already been surpassed.

"Our dear friend Lisa Masters passed away tragically and unexpectedly in Lima, Peru on November 15, 2016. Lisa's genuine warmth, generosity and tenacious strength will be deeply missed," the page reads. "Lisa's beloved husband William is shocked and grieving her sudden loss."

According to her IMDb page, most of Masters' roles on hit shows were cameo and guest-star appearances, as she appeared in one episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt as Dr. Goodman, an episode of Royal Pains as Mrs. Burns, an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Tina Heller, an episode of Gossip Girl as Bryn Harold, and an episode of Ugly Betty as the Crying Museum Curator.

She also portrayed the role of Carol Wainwright in the Stepford Wives movie, which starred Nicole Kidman.
