This is so exciting... Wedding Crashers will soon return to theaters for its highly-anticipated sequel.

During a recent interview, Isla Fisher, also known as the "stage five clinger" of the comedy, revealed she had recently spoken to her co-star, Vince Vaughn, who confirmed Wedding Crashers 2 was happening.

“The first I heard of it [was when] I bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party, and he said that apparently we’re gonna be making a sequel,” Fisher revealed during an interview on the Today show on Thursday, where she was promoting her latest film, Nocturnal Animals, via a report by Hollywood Life on Friday. “So I’m really excited to see what happened to Gloria?”

Although Vaughn and Fisher have both been informed of the sequel plans, no official announcement has been made by anyone quite yet and Fisher is unsure of when the plans will be set in stone.

“I don’t know about that,” she said laughing. “I shouldn’t really announce it on morning television but apparently there’s some talk of it, which is fun!”

The first installment of the series was released over a decade ago and starred a number of big names, including Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper, Christopher Walken, Jane Seymour and Keir O’Donnell.

To word yet on a potential release date for Wedding Crashers 2, but in the meantime, enjoy one of the first film's funniest moments.
