Having acquired Durant for 2016-17 season, Golden State Warriors are still likely to take a shopping trip once more for completing their roster for the next season.

There have been speculations roaming around that Warriors are working things around for cracking a deal with Milwaukee Bucks and buying Greg Monroe for strengthening up the center position for them ahead of the next season.

As cited in an article on Christian Today, Monroe has got the skills Warriors need for beefing up their front-court firepower. The 26-year-old could be accompanying Zaza Pachulia and Anderson Varejao in center position.

Even though he's the highest-paid player out there, he's been in the reserve role. The center from New Orleans signed 3-years, $51 million contract in last season and has $17.88 million player option next season. Unless he is moved by Bucks before the trade deadline, Monroe will definitely be pursuing free agency next July, Morning News USA reported.

Though he couldn't even reach his normal career averages as far as his numbers for this season are concerned, but this new change may help Monroe improve there as well. Being hounded by trade talks currently he's very much distracted and many are thinking that he'll be dealt this season.

As Warriors are currently full of gunners, taking care of the middle-men issue they've long been facing can be beneficial for them. This will also lessen pressure on them as they'll be focusing on team play more than anything else.

As of now, no one can tell if Monroe will be able to get the confidence vote or not even though he could prove to be a real asset for any team - and Golden State Warriors are currently the top candidate for having this asset.
