Grand Theft Auto (GTA) has been one of the pillars of gaming foundation for decades now. Even before the 21st Century they were releasing games and they still continue to. 

Grand Theft Auto 5, or GTA 5 has been released for some time now. The game went so well it is no surprise that Rockstar Games decided to continue the franchise. This brings up GTA VI. GTA 6 is going to be a big game.

According N4BB, there is sad news and there is great news. In terms of bad news, people believe that the game will be released earliest by 2019. That is if nothing delays it, which usually does with games.

The reason for this is because games are not like movies, especially open world games. They take years to develop. The huge maps one sees in GTA 5, the characters, the stories, they all take years to develop. This is why it could very well go on till 2020 even.

In terms of good news, there have been many good changes. Up until now, the main characters have always been men who are up for trouble. Now it is very likely that a female protagonist will be featured. The voice actress could in fact be Eva Mendes. The protagonist's male counterpart could be Ryan Gosling according to chatter.  

In terms of location, there have been rumors going around saying that this time the gameplay might be set in Tokyo. The other GTA games have tried really hard to incorporate Japanese tradition in the games at some points. It is now said that the entire new map could be related to Tokyo City.

Not only that, according to Fab News, it is almost confirmed that the new map will be much, much bigger than the previous ones. That is saying something considering how GTA V's map is pretty enormous already. 

Finally, there has been rumors going around regarding new abilities in GTA 6. Usually, the game follows a realistic pattern but people say that teleportation will be added to the game. As of right now not much is known about this yet but it already creates excitement.
