Many changes happened in "Arrow" season 5 and one of this is the 'just friends' relationship of Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak. With Oliver also starting to move on, is there no chance for the Star City ex-couple to get back together? Beyond the romance angle, a more shocking plot development has just been revealed. Is Artemis really a traitor?

In "Arrow" season 5, episode 7, avid viewers of the CW show watched as Oliver starts to move on from his heartbreak over his break up with Felicity. The Star City mayor went out on a couple of drinks with a new city reporter, Susan Williams (Carly Pope). Is Oliver really following in Felicity's footsteps?

It would seem that Oliver is really trying out something in the romance department but this does not necessarily mean that there is no chance for him to get back with Felicity later on. Just like Detective Malone, Susan's genuineness is questionable.

Although she is obviously flirting with Oliver, she could just be another reported who will do anything to further her career and expose the mayor for who he is. There is something insincere about her character as if she is just trying to win Oliver's heart for her own gain. Therefore, before Olicity shippers get their heart broken, there is still a huge chance for Oliver and Felicity to rekindle their romance.

While others are preoccupied on the love story angle, more fans are concerned with Artemis' possible betrayal. In the last episode, the final scene shows the lady archer meeting with no less than Prometheus. Artemis, also known as Evelyn Sharp, told the villain, "Don't worry, nobody followed me. They don't suspect a thing."

Is she really a traitor to the Arrow team or is she leading Prometheus to believe that she is on his side? At the moment, the more likely answer is that Artemis is a spy for this season's biggest villain.

In the "Young Justice" animation, Artemis is the daughter of Sportsmaster, a super villain. If the CW show is trying to adapt Artemis' animated story in "Arrow," it is possible that she has links with the League of Assassins, aka League of Shadows.

In this DC Universe, it could be that Artemis is working for the league since his father (in the animated universe) was a former member of the group. In a slightly different twist, Evelyn Sharp may not be Artemis' real name. Is it possible that she is Prometheus' sister?

If speculations are true and the villain is indeed Tommy Merlyn, then Artemis may be a Merlyn as well and both were trained by Malcolm Merlyn, who used to lead the League of Assassins.

Watch how these stories progress in "Arrow" season 5, airing on the CW every Wednesday night.
