The 24-year-old rapper, Eminem released his solo debut, Infinite back in 1996. The young rapper spent several years honing his craft and talent in local crews and short-lived groups like Soul Intent and Hip-Hop Shop. He was then discovered by the two producers, Jeff and Mark Bass who possess a modest reputation in the field of hip-house remixes of pop acts like the B-52s and Madonna.

The Funky Bass Brothers were impressed by Eminem's talent and later decided to launch a new record, the Web Entertainment to showcase his raw potential. Eminem's solo debut, Infinite flopped and became a total commercial failure.

The negative and disappointing response to the album prompted Eminem to modify his style which eventually led him to become the most successful rappers of all time. According to BillBoard original vinyl pressings now trade for thousands of dollars for a single copy of the album and are now considered as collector's items.

"My brother and I were executive producers of the album. What would it be like to hear the Infinite album with no samples in it, and take the approach that we used for all of the other Eminem music in the last 17 years? "said Jeff Brass who also mentioned that Mr. Porter (a.k.a. Kon Artis of D-12) and Kevin Michael Wilder initially produced the original tracks.

Now, through the "FBT remix" of its title track, the Bass Brothers are commemorating Eminem's first album.  For the 20th anniversary of Infinite, the F.B.T Productions has remastered the title track, showcasing Eminem's developing signature style; dense lyricism which is compacted into a flexible flow.

"'Infinite' was me trying to figure out how I wanted my rap style to be, how I wanted to sound on the mic and present myself," the rapper recalls. "It was a growing stage. I felt like 'Infinite' was like a demo that just got pressed up," Jeff Brass added.

According to Inquisitr, Eminem again made his songs radio friendly to gain airplay in any radio stations in Detroit. The album portrays the rapper and his grandmother's difficulties while raising his biological daughter, Hailie.
