Ashley Olsen's rumored new boyfriend, Richard Sachs, is nearly twice her age, but despite a new report, her parents aren't upset about the relationship.

On the cover of the latest issue of Star magaine, a headline reads, “Ashley’s Old Man,” and inside the magazine, an alleged source claimed Olsen’s parents “aren’t too thrilled” about their daughter dating the 58-year-old financier.

“They’re both trying to talk sense into Ashley, but right now, all she wants is to settle down with Richard,” the reported source told the magazine, according to a report by Gossip Cop. “They don’t understand why their daughters are drawn to older men.”

As fans of the Olsen twins may know, Olsen's twin sister, Mary-Kate-Olsen, is currently married to 47-year-old Olivier Sarkozy.

“Her parents tried to enlist the help of younger sister Elizabeth, but she wasn’t going to do their bidding,” added the outlet’s rumored source.

In response to the report, a source close to Olsen told Gossip Cop the report was "false."

Not only are Olsen's parents "fine" with her rumored dating relationship with Sachs, they have also been on board with Olsen's past romances, which have reportedly been with older boyfriends as well.

The Gossip Cop report said Olsen's parents "allow their adult children to make their own decisions."
