Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho of "The Legend of the Blue Sea" are being subjected to romance rumors, which started just before the premiere of the Korean drama. Is there truth to this or are websites outside the East Asian countries just maximizing the popularity of the actors?

A report by Movie News Guide alleged that Lee is considering a date with Jun. However, after the seemingly categorical statement, no proof was written to back up the claim. There was not even any reliable source to verify if there are indeed prior speculations as to the rumored budding romance.

The report went on to claim that the relationship of the 29-year-old actor and current girlfriend, Suzy Bae, is unstable. This uncertainty is supposedly due to cheating rumors. Again, the speculations are without source and could not be verified.

The same piece of news managed to surmise Suzy's feelings about the growing friendship between Min Ho and Ji Hyun without any enough proof to the claim. Unfortunately, the romance rumors don't hold water at all.

Meanwhile, Soompi tackled a similar report. However, the piece of information stuck to the truth. The said report talked about Min Ho's Harper's Bazaar cover for the magazine's December issue.

In the actor's interview for the issue, the "Boys over Flowers" star talked briefly about Ji Hyun. The Hallyu star only has compliments for the veteran Korean actress. Min Ho revealed how utterly professional and charming the 35-year-old Jun is. She has no reservations to expose everything about her, Lee disclosed.

Min Ho's statement, along with the undeniable on-screen chemistry with Ji Hyun, may have been misconstrued by some leading them to the conclusion that the co-stars are in a secret romantic relationship, or are on their way to one.

Whether or not Jun and Lee are getting cozy with each other, the publicity adds to the already successful first few episodes of "The Legend of the Blue Sea." The Korean series is currently being aired on SBS and has already garnered a more than decent 16% rating.
