Fans of the post-apocalyptic science fiction drama, "The 100" is set to return for Season 4 in the early part of 2017. The show's executive producer teased on some of the things that the fans would expect to see in the new season.

First, Jobs & Hire reported that a new character will be introduced in "The 100" Season 4. It was said that 27-year-old actor, Chai Romruen was cast in a recurring role beginning the new season. His character would be Ilan who is a Grounder who is facing supernatural creatures.

Producer Jason Rothenberg revealed that this new character will bring a new story in "The 100" Season 4. He added that there will also be new characters to be expected in the upcoming season.

While there may be new characters, it was reported that many of the original characters will be returning for "The 100" Season 4. Eliza Taylor will be back as Clarke Griffin, Bob Morley as Bellamy Blake, Devon Bostick as Jasper Jordan, Christopher Larkin as Monty Green and Isiah Washington will return as Thelonious Jaha.

According to Ecumenical News, Nadia Hilker will also be back as Luna in "The 100" Season 4. It was said that she will be back stronger. Now that Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) has already passed, there were speculations that Luna will be Clarke's new love interest in the show.

As for the show's plot, it was rumored that Season 4 will still be filled with intense drama and thrilling action scenes. It was earlier reported that Season 4 might feature one big catastrophe which threatens every living person on the planet.

With that, Rothenberg revealed that Clarke and the others are unaware of what is to come as they will find "peace before the storm." He added that once the group realized what will come, the viewers will see how they will handle the reality of their fate.

"The 100" Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on The CW on February 1, 2017.
