Fans of the show "Steven Universe" have been waiting for the continuation of Season 4. After airing Episode 8, there are speculations that the show will again go on a hiatus after it airs Episode 9.

According to GameNGuide, "Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 9 will revolve around Steven and Greg. Spoilers reveal that in the episode, Greg will tell Steven a story about their first winter together.

In a video teaser for "Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 9, Connie can be seen going home before the snow begins to fall. This will prompt Greg to reminisce the times when he and baby Steven spent their first winter together.  There were earlier theories that Season 4 will feature a younger Greg and might also involve a few stories about Rose Quartz.

Meanwhile, "Steven Universe" is again facing cancellation rumors. According to Parent Herald, "Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 8 titled "Gem Harvest" garnered a very low rating. However, the people behind the show and the network are still to confirm or deny the said rumors.

Series creator Rebecca Sugar said in an earlier interview that it is still unclear if "Steven Universe" will be renewed for a fifth season or whether Season 5 will be its final season. While waiting for any news on its renewal, the fans can still enjoy the remaining episodes of "Steven Universe" Season 4.

The fans can also enjoy the "Steven Universe" comic series from Boom! It was reported that the first issue will focus on Lapis, Peridot and Steven as they rescue a baby bird outside the barn. It will then show their journey in finding the bird's mother.

As for the rest of the plot for "Steven Universe" Season 4, Peridot and Lapis are also seen in the show residing at the barn. However, there are no news as to if the comic series and the animated show is interconnected or independent of each other.

"Steven Universe" Season 4 is scheduled to be back on Dec. 1 on Cartoon Network while the comic series will be released on February 1, 2017.
