Fans of Avatar have got a new point to cherish their enthusiasm as James Cameron finally reveals the release date of Avatar 2.

Very recently Century Fox has declared a list of dates of the upcoming premiere. Among them, there was an untitled movie of the Lightstorm Entertainment of Cameron.

According to the sources of Deadline, the untitled movie can be the next sequel to the famous 2009 movie, Avatar. Even the sources also revealed that the release date of the movie is December 21, 2018.

That means Fox Entertainment has quietly made it clear that audiences have to wait two more years to see the next sequel of the box office hit animated film of 2009.

It is also reported that James Cameron has declared his plan at CinemaCon to create three more sequels of the film. The expected third sequel will be released in 2020, the fourth one in 2022 and the fifth sequel will hit the screen in 2023.

NME unveiled that the project work has already started.

Sources of NME said that Cameron has already planned a project to create a saga with all the four films. "We're making four epic [Avatar] films that stand alone but together form a saga. These movies were designed to be seen in theaters first,".

Earlier in 2006 James Cameron said that if his Sci-Fi movie will hit the box office, then the next sequel will certainly be there.

Thanks to the Fox Studio which ultimately reveals an update report of the 2009 record breaking movie Avatar.

The 2009 Sci-Fi movie was released in Christmas and the next sequel Avatar 2 will also be released in the Christmas of 2018.

Earlier it was expected that the sequel will be released in December 2014, but with the current announcement, it is clear that Cameron took the time to plan three more sequels.

Viewers can't forget Avatar, one of the most popular movies in the world of entertainment, and now they have to wait till 2018 to taste the adventure of the next part Avatar 2.
