They've been together just over a year, but Blake Shelton can't help but gush about new girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show, Shelton couldn't help but brag about his girlfriend of a year when Ellen DeGeneres pressed him for more details about the relationship.

"I love talking about Gwen!" He said when DeGeneres brought up the romance.

DeGeneres then discussed how unlikely the couple's relationship seemed to everyone because of how they were so different, but also expressed that she loved seeing them together because of how cute they were as a couple, causing Shelton to start gushing about Stefani being so different from everyone imagines she would be like.

"It' been just an eye-opener to be with someone like her," he said. "Believe it or not, I mean, you think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, and she is literally maybe the most normal person that I've ever met in my life. It's been good for me to be with somebody that's so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart."

DeGeneres then continued to heap praise on the couple, specifically Stefani, as she talked about how she was a good mom to her three sons, and was also "down to earth," when Shelton decided to share one of his favorite attributes his girlfriend has.

"And she's hot!" He joked. "Have you seen her? I mean, look at that!"

"Oh, I didn't notice," DeGeneres deadpanned. "I just realized, now that I look at her. She is attractive."

Shelton and Stefani began dating last year after bonding on the set of The Voice following their respective divorces from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale.

Also during Shelton's appearance on the show, DeGeneres continued her annual "12 Days of Giveaways" she does during the Holiday Season, where her audience gets great gifts simply for being in attendance. Shelton helped her present her audience with a 1 year membership to Classpass, Kiehl's beauty products, Michael Kors Smartwatches, Joy Mangano luggage, and 3-day, 2-night stays at Miraval Resort in Tucson, Arizona.
