As a couple in the public eye, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have dealt with their fair share of cheating rumors, and regardless of how false they might have been, they still had an effect.

Faris spoke about rumors from the tabloids that Pratt might have been cheating on her with Passengers co-star Jennifer Lawrence on her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified, this week.

"Chris and I, we talk about this a lot," Faris told guest Isla Fisher. "We grapple with a lot of the ideas of being a public couple." She recalled, "We were in the public a little bit, there were some tabloid rumors about strain in our relationship."

While Faris had wanted to simply dismiss these rumors outright, she admitted, "I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me, because I didn't want to think of myself as somebody who could be bothered by ... tabloid s---."

Fisher asked Faris directly what stung the most from these rumors, to which the Mom star said it was a "combination of things." She explained that she takes pride in her relationship with Pratt, "but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in L.A. raising our child, of course I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would."

While Faris may have known that the cheating rumors weren't valid, "it made me feel incredibly very insecure."

Faris and Pratt have been married since 2009, having previously met in 2007 at the table read for the movie Take Me Home Tonight. The pair has one son, Jack. While both Pratt and Faris had previous success in the industry, their respective careers have skyrocketed in recent years. Pratt starred in two of the biggest blockbusters of all time, Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, and Faris is in her fourth season on the successful CBS sitcom Mom.
