Demi Lovato has finally landed her first Grammy nomination, with her fifth studio album.

Lovato is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for Confident at the upcoming Grammys, as announced Tuesday morning. The pop star is nominated against Adele for 25, Justin Bieber for Purpose, Ariana Grande for Dangerous Woman and Sia for This Is Acting.

Despite being nominated for all sorts of music groups, including the MTV Video Music Awards, the Billboard Music Awards and the World Music Awards, the Grammy has eluded her for years - until now. This is Lovato's only nomination, but she has not stopped celebrating on social media:

Lovato had previously tweeted about a Grammy nomination being one of her goals:

It remains to be seen if Lovato will receive the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, but considering her competition has support in other categories, she may have to settle for just being nominated. Adele and Bieber are also nominated for Album of the Year and a slew of other categories, Grande is also nominated in Pop Solo Performance (for "Dangerous Woman") and Sia is nominated in Pop Duo/Group Performance (for "Cheap Thrills" featuring Sean Paul).

However, something tells us Lovato is going to be more than happy just to be nominated for music's greatest honor. Lovato was one of the standout moments at this past Grammys with her tribute to Lionel Ritchie, singing his smash hit "Hello" with pitch-perfect vocals. Her Confident album features such hits as "Cool for the Summer", "Confident" and "Stone Cold".

The 2017 Grammys will air live Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8/7c on CBS.
