Kim Kardashian could be looking to start over once again in 2017, as new reports are indicating she may seek a divorce from Kanye West in the new year.

According to Us Weekly, Kardashian "wants a divorce" from her rapper husband and the father of her two children, North, 3, and Saint, 1.

A source told the magazine that she isn't rushing to file papers and start the process just yet, but she is planning the next steps to make it official, waiting until she can build a case for full custody of their kids.

"It will take some time before she can do anything," the source said. "But she doesn't want to stay married."

The source also said that Kardashian won't make any decisions until after West is fully recovered from his recent bout with Exhaustion, which led to him being hospitalized for nine days, and though she may want out of the marriage, she is happy he's slowly getting better and healthier again.

"She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he's getting the helo he needs," the source said. "But she's felt trapped for a while."

The report comes after West was released from UCLA Medical Center's Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital on Nov. 30, for what was dubbed by his physician as "temporary psychosis", and he has been receiving outpatient treatment since, though reports have been conflicted on whether that has been occurring at an L.A. area rental, or if he has been at home with Kardashian and their kids in Bel Air.

The news of a potential divorce also comes after Kardashian herself went through a terrifying ordeal back in October, after she was tied up and held at gunpoint in Paris, where robbers stole a reported $10 million in jewelry from her.

Since that incident, Kardashian has made no public appearances at events, stayed completely off social media, and halted production on her family reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
