Jennifer Lawrence wore a satin black and white Christian Dior gown at the Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet on Saturday, that has fashion observers abuzz with compliments for the Oscar winning star.

The 22-year-old actress who nabbed an Oscar for best actress this year for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, attended Cannes for the premiere of Jimmy P. Psychotherapy of A Plains Indian today dazzling in a White strapless top and black skirt floor length gown accesorized with emerald and diamond earrings and black heels.

"There's not room to talk about her killer tan, gorgeous red lip and awesome tousled bob," wrote People Magazine about Lawrence.

The actress posed on the red carpet with actors Sam Claflin and Liam Hemsworth and director Francis Lawrence. All of them are in France to promote their new movie, the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire set for release in the United States in November 22.
