Pop singer Selena Gomez performed her new song Come & Get It at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

The track is off of Gomez's upcoming album Stars Dance, set to release this summer. She will also embark on her first ever solo world tour in August.

"You got the kind of love that I want, let me get that/ And baby once I get it, I'm yours; no take-backs/ I'm gonna' love you for life, I ain't leaving your side," she sings. "Even if you knock it, ain't no way to stop it / Forever you're mine, baby, I'm addicted; no lie."

The singer recently returned to recording music but for some time focused on her acting career. She starred in Spring Breakers alongside Vanessa Hudgens, James Franco, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and Gucci Mane. The film was released in theaters in the U.S. on March 22.

The 20-year-old was not nominated at the awards ceremony on Sunday, which aired live on ABC. She performed in the same week that the song gave her pop star her first Top 10 hit on the Hot 100 chart, according to Billboard.

Gomez has performed Come & Get It already a number of times this year - on Dancing with the Stars, at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, at the Radio Disney Music Awards and on the Late Show with David Letterman. The song's official music video was released by VEVO on YouTube on May 7.
