Heather McDonald is friends with a number of members of the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but it seems fairly safe to say that Kelly Dodd is not included in that group.

Throughout the 11th season of the Bravo TV reality series, Dodd made a name for herself as the most controversial and unrefined member of the Orange County cast, but when it comes to her staying power, McDonald doesn't seem too sure that she will be around for much longer.

"As a new housewife, Kelly has made a lot of mistakes," McDonald revealed to us during an email interview earlier this week. "First, don’t have your husband tweet Andy Cohen that his book AND hit reality franchise aren’t good. Second, don't tweet Heather McDonald telling her she's not funny. And last, your time on the housewives is precious -- there are thousands of housewives who can replace you in a second!"

As for her own ties to the franchise, McDonald joked, "I fancy myself as an unpaid real housewives consultant -- I've given advice to actual housewives from the OC, Dallas, and New York."

When she's not acting as Bravo's unofficial and unpaid consultant, McDonald can be found touring the country (see when she's coming to your town here) and making people laugh, as she also does on her weekly podcast, Juicy Scoop.

Juicy Scoop was originally launched on PodcastOne in 2015 and recently made the switch to Wondery.
