Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are up for shocking and controversial evidence regarding their divorce battle which reports say is the cause of their separation two years back.

The "Maleficent" actress filed for divorce last September but new reports suggest that the ex-couple have in fact separated before the announcement of divorce that month. Inquisitr claims that Brad and Angie have called it quits last 2014 and there is only this reason that kept them together until the announcement.

The report added that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had a massive argument last 2014 during the Academy Award. Brad got frustrated with Jolie when she tried to steal the limelight from him.

It can be recalled that Jolie sported a beautiful dress which exposed her one leg because of its slit-cut design. This really annoyed Brad that much and that that was not only the instance wherein Angelina tried to steal the limelight from her equally-famous husband.

Angelina Jolie, as what some rumors tell is doing that ever since and Brad Pitt s already pissed off with what she was doing. So because of this, Jolie feels that her husband is her competitor and Brad doesn't want that to happen as per OK Magazine.

Not only that famous leg pose infuriated Brad because another incident led to the massive argument of the ex-couple on that same day. Angelina won't just allow Pitt to enjoy every second of his winning. The actor ended up cutting the celebration short with his co-stars in the movie, "12 Years a Slave."

When they went home, Brad and Angelina had a massive fight. Angelina has been so jealous and so bored of Brad Pitt and that they agreed to split.

However, due to their six children and their reputation to maintain, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided to just keep things civil and pretend that everything is still doing well in their life as a married couple. But people can't be fooled and now, these are all coming out.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wanted to separate long before so the divorce announcement last September is just the event that has formalized the controversial split.
