Miley Cyrus got a new tatttoo this week and quickly debuted the new ink on Instagram a short time later.

Just days after the season 11 finale of The Voice, Cyrus ventured into a tattoo parlor where she got inked with a marijuana leaf on her ankle.

In the caption of the photo below, Cyrus shared a series of Christmas tree emojis.

Cyrus also shared a second photo of herself days ago which featured her in her Christmas sweater.

"The tree isn't the only thing getting *LIT* this year!!!!!! Hollllaaaaaa!" she wrote in the caption of the photo below.

Amid the 11th season of The Voice, Cyrus confirmed she would be returning to the show as a coach during next year's fall season -- after Gwen Stefani returned to the show for Season 12.

“We can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake and Adam will bring to Season 12,” said Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and reality group, NBC Entertainment. “With Miley returning for Season 13, we’re truly ecstatic about the unmatched musical know-how and talent coming together in our coming seasons.”

On Twitter, Cyrus shared a photo of herself promoting The Voice and confirmed the news with a tweet of her own, which revealed her excitement.
