Having landed a new deal with Coach, Selena Gomez is expected to feature in some of the brand's ads as well as design merchandise in the coming year.

Hence, the new luxury brand is pegged at an alleged $10 million. That shoots up her net worth considerably.

"Being able to create is my favorite thing in the whole world. I'm so excited to be a part of the vision and family @coach AND I get the honor to design with @stuartvevers -ahhhhhh," Selena Gomez told her fans and followers on Instagram last week.

It was at the same time that Stuart Vevers put up a picture of himself with Selena Gomez. There was an additional picture that brought in the earlier one shared by her. Coach's official Instagram page put up a photograph of a bag with her initials. The fans were told that it was an "all-time favorite silhouette, reimagined for Coach Holiday."

The singer's deal with Coach followed a few weeks shut up in a rehab facility just outside Nashville, Tennessee. Later in August, her Oceanic leg of the Revival World Tour was wrapped up. The singer said that she would take some time to battle her mental health issues, according to US Maagazine.

"As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways," Selena Gomez told People Magazine. "I've discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges."

"I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off," she continued. "Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues."

Once she was out of the treatment, Selena was spotted in Los Angeles and also appeared on stage in the last month's 2016 American Music Awards. At the time, she had been honored with the Best Female Artist's Pop/Rock award.

"I had to stop, because I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside," Selena Gomez said when she accepted the award. "I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down."

In spite of everything, Selena's career is indeed on a high. On December 21, Celebrity Net Worth reported that she has a net worth of $45 million.
