Miley Cyrus and her on-again off-again boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, have both been laying low and shying away from media attention since they rekindled their romance late last year. The couple's self inflicted seclusion.

However, may be just what the doctor ordered as they both are now apparently getting quite serious. Now, the Cyrus family has provided fans a unique glimpse, via a recently posted social media post, at the couple's family life.

The holiday season is a time to be together, and Miley's sister, Brandi Cyrus, has now revealed it to be the same case for their family as shown in her recent Instagram post. The photo, which shows Hemsworth spending his holidays with his girlfriend's family, contained the caption, "Cyrus fam Christmas in full Swing."

The photo showcases Miley in the middle wearing her PJs, while being surrounded by her parents, Billy Ray and Tish, along with her siblings, Braison, Brandi, Noah and Trace. Fans will quickly notice that almost everyone has their hands around or on someone, except for Liam, who decided to keep his hands in front of him.

Reports have claimed that this may either be due to his shyness with his girlfriend's family. Or simply because he is standing beside Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who is sporting a rather bizarre beard and hairstyle combo.

Liam Hemsworth is likely returning the favor with Miley Cyrus, who spent her holidays last year with Liam's family. They were spotted together at New Years Eve along with Liam's brother, Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa.

Ever since the couple had gotten back together, they seem to be enjoying more of each other's company now that they are out off the spotlight. Fans are however glad that the couple is starting to be more open to public about their relationship, which is evident with their approval of the posting of the awkward holiday family picture.
