Los Angeles Clippers superstar Chris Paul is highly regarded as one of the best point guards in the league today. Reports are now saying that he is open to the idea of teaming up with LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade when just recently asked by reporters.

The 31-year old guard from Wake Forest University has established his name being in the league for 11 years. He was voted 9 times as an NBA All-Star and been a member of the US Basketball team who golds in the Beijing and London Olympics.

He was originally drafted by the New Orleans Hornets in 2005 as their 4th overall pick but was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2011. From a losing team, Paul helped the Clippers revive their franchise thru his leadership and high-level playmaking skills. Reports are now saying that he made a positive comment on a possible "banana boat" scenario on the court.

According to CBS Sports, Chris Paul is not discounting the possibility of seeing himself playing alongside LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade one of this day. He is very optimistic that the idea of a reunion with his friends might happen at some point and said that "Anything is possible."

Earlier reports also say that James has stated that he is willing to take less salary just to play with Paul, Anthony, and Wade as per stated in the report. And King James wishes that the said scenario will happen before their hang up their sneakers. However, questions are raised, where will they play and when this is going to happen?

Also, on a separate report by New York Daily News, though Paul is still keeping his hopes but some complication might prevent this from happening. James is still under contract with the Cavs through the 2017-2018 season and he seems don't any intention of leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On the other hand, Anthony's contract with the New York Knicks contains a no-trade clause making it difficult to get him while Wade just recently signed a two-year deal with his hometown Chicago Bulls and have the intention of retiring there.

Though there are roadblocks stopping this possible team up of Chris Paul, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade but they are in the NBA and like Paul said anything can happen.
