The annual Home for the Holidays special is set to air tonight on CBS - find out how and when to watch it.

Some of music's biggest names will help ring in the holiday season tonight on CBS. Miranda Lambert, Alessia Cara and Rachel Platten are all performing in Friday night's A Home for the Holidays special, which raises awareness for adoption and foster care.

"The inspirational stories of these American families are enhanced with performances by some of today's most popular artists," says CBS.

Lambert is set to perform songs off her bestselling album, The Weight of These Wings. The country star has won two Grammys in the past, with two more nominations for the upcoming ceremony for her song, "Vice".

Cara is one of the most popular new artists of 2016, with major hits like "Here" and the inspirational "Scars to Your Beautiful". The singer is nominated for Favorite Breakout Artist at the People's Choice Awards and was nominated for Best New Artist at the American Music Awards and the BET Awards.

Platten has risen to fame through her seemingly-ubiquitous "Fight Song" - which became the main anthem for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign. She is now trending on the charts again with "Stand by You". She won an Emmy earlier this year for her performance of "Fight Song" on Good Morning America.

A Home for the Holidays begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, and is set to air until 9 p.m. ET/PT. If you cannot watch A Home for the Holidays on television but still want to watch it live online, there are a few options.

You can try the CBS live stream, which you can access as long as you have a cable subscription. But if you're a "cord-cutter" and don't have any cable subscription information, there's still an option. CBS has its own streaming services called CBS All Access, where you can view CBS programming live for $5.99 per month. But you can try a free trial if you haven't tried the service already.
