The Expendables 4 is now reportedly on the production stage for 2018 premiere. The 4th sequel might also be the last for this action franchise.

According to Mobile & Apps, The Expendables star Sylvester Stallone has now exposed that they are already preparing for one last mission. Stallone also established that he will be bringing back the cruelest action stars in the movie world for one last shot in the upcoming sequel.

Stallone also affirmed that The Expendable 4 will be the last series of the action movie franchise and he also added that it will be out sometime in 2018. It can be remembered that Stallone was the original director and producer of the first "Expendables" movie. He is also expected to be joined by his fellow action stars, Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the next movie.

When it comes with the earnings, MovieWeb noted that the 2010's The Expendables brought a hefty $103 million domestically and another $171.4 million overseas garnering a worldwide total of $274.4 million. The Expendables 2 trailed just two years later wherein it dropped a bit domestically at $85 million but increased internationally at $229.9 million for a worldwide total of $314.9 million, from a $100 million budget.

For the last installment, 2014's The Expendables 3 brought the franchise low at $39.3 million domestically and $175.3 million internationally for a worldwide total of $214.6 million. Nonetheless, the budget figures are not revealed.

As for the action stars to cast for this film, there is no confirmation as of the moment who exactly will be appearing on The Expendables 4. Nonetheless, was notable that this movie has a long list of 80s and 90s action stars that have developed throughout the different installments in the franchise. The list is comprised of such names like Mel Gibson, Jet Li, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lungren, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
