‘Naruto Shippuden’ Episode 488 Spoilers: The Story Beyond Cliffhanger; Chino To Kill Sasuke [Video]
The next episode of Naruto Shippuden is one of the most highly anticipated episodes as the previous one i.e. Episode 487 ended with a cliffhanger.
The much-awaited fight between Chino and Sasuke did not take place but looks like Episode 488 will finally conclude the story of the two eye technique users.
Episode 488 of Naruto Shippuden will come next year after a week's break. So, the wait seems to be worth it as viewers will finally get to see what transpires between Sasuke and Chino, reports Mobile & Apps.
The previous episode did not see the two fighting but Chino did reveal herself to be the wielder of Kekkei Genkai. Fuushin attacked Sasuke with his wind-based jutsu tricks when his cover as Nowaki was blown.
However, Sasuke saved himself by teleporting, which saw him getting trapped for some time by Ketsuryugan. To dispel the effects, he activated his Mangekyou Sharingan. While moving on to Hell Valley, he saw Chino waiting for him and she then used her Ketsuryugan to let him see her past. It was revealed that she was kidnapped at a young age by En Oyashiro and she met Fuushin at a match where she defeated him with her Fuushin eye technique Ketsuryugan.
They came closer and later fled the mansion of Oyashiro and became the lightning gang. The saviors carried on helping those in need until the Hidden Mist shinobis trapped them. Left with no escape measure, Chino unlocked her latent powers and thus, could explode people with her jutsu. Now, it would be interesting to see how things play out between her and Sasuke.
The previews suggest that she would hesitate in killing him and would question him as to why he would do so much to defend Konoha. It was his village that planned to slaughter his whole clan through his brother Itachi. To this Sasuke replies that it was because of a friend who always believed that a better world is possible despite the odds and audiences can gauge that the reference is to Naruto.
Naruto Shippuden Episode 488 airs on January 5, 2017.
