As 2016 is about to come to an end, PlayStation Plus subscribers are now excited to know what games are included in it January 2017 lineup. However, Sony has yet to reveal the official titles that will be downloaded for free but promised to announce it very soon.

Judging the membership store's revelation from the recent months, it quite assumed that the tech giant is going to announce its free games for PlayStation platforms on Dec. 28, according to Daily Express. Unfortunately, there are no leaks or any kind of hints what titles are going to be included, but some are now casting their assumptions and predictions.

The newest batch of PlayStation Plus freebies will remain live until January 3 that will be the same day that Sony is expected to release its free game titles. The PlayStation 4 users are assuming that there will be at least one AAA game title that will be included in the new lineup.

Allegedly, the free membership store is being dominated by Xbox Live Gold as it has the best titles to offer. Sony, on the other hand, can improve their service if it is going to offer the first ever PlayStation VR game for free.

Meanwhile, PSU noted the game titles that are most likely to be included in PlayStation Plus January lineup. First on the list is Knack as Knack 2 is already announced at the recent PSX, there is a big chance that the original title will end up in the 2017 free games.

Next is Rayman Legends. Ubisoft games have been often included in the member-only sales and as the title is always on the PlayStation Store sale, it is not impossible that it will be soon free to download.

Gravity Rush Remastered is now coming out as a free game on Asian and Japanese stores. With the original Gravity Rush already appeared on PlayStation Plus, its new edition might also come in the lineup. Lastly, Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster might also join the roster.
