Kim Kardashian has not been one to let her pregnancy interfere with her flawless fashion sense, but she has come under scrutiny for her latest fashion choices.

The reality TV star, currently seven months pregnant, was put into the spotlight for cramming her swollen feet into a too-tight pair of high heels while filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians last week in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old paired the Givenchy Albertina Podium heels with a form-fitting, white cap-sleeve dress that showed off her baby bump in style as she headed to lunch with her mom, Kris Jenner, at Stanley's in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

A couple of weeks earlier, she tweeted, "Swollen feet or a new Givenchy tattoo?" about a pair of uncomfortable shoes, along with a photo revealing the criss-cross imprints left by some strappy sandals.

Earlier this month, she chose a high-necked floral Givenchy dress with a high slit to the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York City. She completed the look with matching gloves and sandals .

Rumors swirled last year that Anna Wintour banned Kardashian from the event, but she found her way in this year. After accompanying boyfriend Kanye West, who was performing at the gala, Kardashian's fashion choice drew some unkind remarks.

Her outfit was widely criticized and prompted a side-by-side photo comparison of Kardashian and Robin Williams's character from the film Mrs. Doubtfire to circulate online.

West was named one of the best dressed at the fashion event by Vogue, but the magazine cropped Kardashian out of the photo. Wintour did, however, allow Kardashian's presence to be documented on Vogue's website, only under the standard red carpet arrivals photo gallery.

Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci came to Kardashian's defense in the days following the start-studded event.

"She looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career," Riccardo said.

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe also said positive things about Kardashian's look in an interview with the New York Post. She said, "I think Kim looked fantastic. I think she's amazing and that she has no fear."

While Wintour and Kardashian appeared to make peace, according to rumors, West may have fallen out of Vogue's good graces. The 35-year-old rapper "annoyed organizers by performing new music unfamiliar to the audience rather than a set of well-known hits that was prearranged," according to Page Six of The New York Post.

The rapper, 35, serenaded Kardashian during his performance at the high-profile event. A Metropolitan Museum of Art rep said, "We were thrilled to have Kanye perform." A rep for the evening's host, Vogue, said the publication agreed.
