Luca Todesco has publicized the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool recently but the said firmware build has some problems with stability. Now, the next iteration of the tool in form of iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool is anticipated to be available earlier than expected.

According to Tech Times, the iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak has been rolled out some days ago but some of the iOS device owners are cautious about its stability which makes the tool being avoided. With these, they are stuck on Pangu jailbreak and they are now waiting for the 10.2 build. Their perseverance may get rewarded as this firmware might be available

The 10.1.1 jailbreak version was created by Italian iOS hacker Luca Todesco. It is a successful jailbreaking tool for the latest iOS 10. But then, it is considered an early beta build having several known problems.

This jailbreaking tool is classified as a semi-untethered method, which means the users will have to jailbreak their devices every time it gets rebooted. Todesco has already avowed that it worked on his iPhone 7 but he did not assure that it will also work on other handsets. There is also a huge probability that it might brick the device which may require a hard reset for it to function again.

As for the iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Tool, Forbes noted that Stefan Esser (@i0n1c), who's also known in the jailbreaking scene said that an iOS 10.2 jailbreak "is about to hit soon." Based on his tweet, the issues which were faced by jailbreakers in dealing with the Luca Todesco jailbreak tool shouldn't worry anybody as another team was aiming to unveil a tool for the current iOS 10.2.

With the iOS 10.2 seems to be available earlier than expected, this may give hope to the iOS device owners. Nevertheless, there is no exact date as to when it will be available so it is recommended to always keep an eye for the release date.
