The invincibility of Michael Schumacher has been tested three years ago. While he is able to withstand what is probably the biggest challenge in his life, his condition has been far from a state that many wanted it to be.

It can be remembered that back in December 2013, Schumacher has been spending time with family and friends in the French Alps when he banged his head on a rock during a skiing accident.

Although the interest about his health has been high, news about his condition has been very limited. His wife Corinna has been strict in protecting her husband's privacy.

Due to the scarce developments, speculations have surfaced periodically. Such intrusions have been posted on the news.

The German tabloid Bunte has reported that Schumacher can walk. This has been denied by law counsel Felix Damm.

It has also been rumored that the former Mercedes ace was paralyzed. Corinna Schumacher has promptly brought such claims to court.

What is perhaps definite is the fact that the seven-time race champion is currently rehabilitating at his home in Geneva, Switzerland.

Considering that a close acquaintance has said that the legendary driver will need a miracle to recover, the road ahead remains tough.

Former F1 chief Ross Brawn has cited that Schumacher's recovery is encouraging.

Another friend has declared that he is very thin. The retired racer's movements have been restricted which apparently included raising an arm and walking a few steps.

Lately, the police have employed an investigation with regards to the proliferation of photographs showing Schumacher. The inquiry is related to the sportsman's pictures which media companies had flaunted to cost a million pounds.

According to his manager Sabine Kehm, no update will be made available around this time considering that the icon's health is not a public issue.

Prior to his accident, the German race driver's worth has been about 500 million pounds. As of late, it has been revealed that Schumacher's hospital expenses were pegged at 115,000 pounds a week.
