HBO's fantasy serial drama television series Game of Thrones, is a few months until its scheduled comeback on the small screens. Following this, fans of the hit series are more than excited to witness another mind-boggling scenarios between the Dragons, the walkers and their favorite characters.

The sixth season ended with a bang. There were a lot of scenes that definitely needs answers when the show, also popularly known as GOT, returns. It has been widely speculated that the upcoming season would offer more shocking twists and turns to the fans, as its script would be much more incredible than the previous ones.

According to a report from International Business Times, Season 7 took longer to film because the writers of the series have reportedly thought through the whole story line for this season. Apparently, no matter how great and extraordinary fans think the previous seasons' plots were, it has been revealed that the seventh season's script is more extraordinary.

Moreover, in an interview with Radio Times, actor Iain Glen, who portrays the character Ser Jorah Mormont in GOT, shared that the production team have spent equally the same time for filming as for any other seasons, even though the number of episode s for the upcoming season has been reduced from its original number.

The actor also said that the reason why the team has reduced the episodes was because of the longer production time that they have and will be spending, and would also depend on the 'scale and size of the set pieces.' This just means that a lot more big things are going to be expected in season 7.

Meanwhile, according to The Independent, HBO network head, Richard Plepner, discussed the possibility of a GOT spin-off series. The show is sadly going to end after the eight season and fans are surely going to be asking for more, thus the possible extension through the spin-off.

"Right now we're focused on finishing the series with the kind of energy and excitement that everyone has come to expect", Plepner said. This has brought high hopes to the loyal fans and followers of the series, who have been following GOT since day one.

Game Of Thrones Season 7 is speculated to be released on televisions on mid-2017.
