They have finally decided to let one another go and move on with their lives, but Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) could soon find themselves going head-to-head once more as they both set their sights on Fenmore's on The Young and the Restless.

Jack has been set on acquiring more companies for Jabot, and knows that Fenmore's has been struggling lately, especially with much lower than expected holiday sales. And while he knows making a move on the company may not win him many points with Lauren (Tracy Bregman), he is focused on his goal, and will inform Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that he believes the time has arrived to make their move to take over the company.

"Fenmore's is vulnerable," he says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Jan, 4 episode. "It's time to make our move."

However, Phyllis left Jabot so she could help Lauren get her company back on track by building a bigger online presence, and she has some big ideas on how to take things forward, and she intends to execute them so that she can prove she is an asset.

"This is my chance to show what I can do and I can help one of my best friends take her company right to the top," she says in the clip.

However, with Jack sniffing around to acquire, Phyllis could be running out of time, though she is unlikely to let Jack take over the company without a fight, meaning the two will once again be coming face-to-face and dealing with each other, and old passions could easily and quickly flare up once more if they're out back into one another's paths.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
