Eminem has already announced that he's working on a new album, but when exactly is it coming?

Fan anticipation for Eminem's new album is reaching a fever pitch. While the legendary rapper has recorded tracks for the Southpaw movie soundtrack and released compilation albums in recent years, his last traditional studio album was 2013's The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Eminem did release song on Oct. 19 called "Campaign Speech", where the rapper covered everything from Donald Trump to Colin Kaepernick to George Zimmerman, at which point he also teased that he was working on his new album:

Outside of this, however, there has been little to no confirmation on when the new album is coming, what it will be called and who might be featured alongside him on the album.

However, there have been several rumors over the past few months, including one that the album will be called Success and be released on Jan. 25, with features like Adele, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Mastein Bennett and Vince Staples. And producers on the album supposedly include Dr. Dre, Mr. Porter, Rick Rubin, DJ Michael Keenan, DJ Premier, Symbolyc One, Just Blaze, Boi-1da, The Neptunes and The Alchemist.

While many have commented that the leak is fake, there's very little else to tide fans over as they wait for the "Rap God" to release his ninth studio album.

The rapper might also be busy working as executive producer and music supervisor for an upcoming TV show called Motor City, based upon on the 2002 movie Narc. It was revealed back in 2015 that he would be contributing to the series, though there is no indication of whether the project has moved forward.

While Eminem's millions of fans may be desperate for any kind of clue as to when the rapper is releasing the album, he is the type of artist who could pull off a surprise release like Beyonce and sell millions of copies within a few weeks. Even if the aforementioned Jan. 25 release date doesn't come to pass, it's possible that the rapper could drop the album any day now.
