Angelina Jolie appears to be fighting back after Brad Pitt's previous court filing which asked to keep the records of their custody battle sealed and claimed she wasn't acting in the children's best interest.

In a new filing, where Jolie actually does agree to Pitt's request to have the records for Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne sealed, she slams the actor and her soon to be ex-husband, saying that he made accusations against her to deflect attention from himself because he's 'terrified the public will learn the truth."

"There is is little doubt that [Brad] would prefer to keep the entire case private, particularly given the detailed investigations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Dept. Of Children and Family Services into allegation of abuse," People reports the documents as saying.

Sources from both Jolie and Pitt camps have also continued trading barbs since the filing, with a member of Jolie's camp insisting that just because Pitt was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing when it came to the abuse allegations didn't mean that no such action occurred which traumatized the kids.

"They keep pointing to him being cleared. While his behavior didn't amount to anything criminal, that doesn't mean he didn't do anything wrong," the source told the magazine. "The kids are traumatized. The mom has been protecting the kids by not revealing what relly happened on that plane. Her interest since the outset hasn't changed: to protect the health and safety of the kids."

However, the source from Pitt's camp has fired back, with comments about how it was nice to see her finally agreeing to Pitt's initial request, which he filed on Dec. 21, and also claiming that there was still nothing else to share regarding abuse, and the filing was solely being made to protect the kids.

"It's nice to see that she has finally come around to supporting the sealing of documents weeks after he requested the action. Considering that both the FBI and child services thoroughly investigated this matter and cleared the father, this line of attack doesn't make much sense," the source said.

"The most likely scenario is that she shared whatever information she has and the authorities clearly didn't find it to be credible or substantiated," the source added. "But if for some reason she inexplicably didn't share it, then one needs to question how that was in the best interests of the children...Let's hope that this agreement to keep things private going forward will finally allow this to be resolved quietly for the best interests of the children."
