Jenny McCarthy warned fans not to mess with Amanda Bynes after the two got into an argument over Twitter.

McCarthy retweeted a statement earlier in the month that police went to Bynes’ house on May 1 after the latter posted topless photos online. The troubled actress, however, claimed that same day that the reports were false and called McCarthy “ugly” and “old.”

Bynes also told her to “shut the f**k up.”

McCarthy has since apologized, tweeting, "@AmandaBynes sorry girl. Looking out for ya."

The two made up via Twitter after the brief fued, with Bynes tweeting, "@JennyMcCarthy thanks! I'm sorry I offended you! You're beautiful! I was lying! I'll delete our tweets!"

McCarthy said at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, "All I know is we've made peace and you do not mess with Amanda—amen! I speak my mind but I also apologize when it's called for."

A rep from The New York Police Department reportedly said there was no 911 call and they did not go to Bynes' apartment.

Although the actress had recently posted a tweet that encouraged fans that she was on the path to recovery, the actress had been reportedly using drugs and was seen covered with bruises and cuts on her feet.

When she invited two photographers for a party recently, according to Radar Online, she had marijuana lying around her apartment. Photographer Arnold Giovanni told InTouch magazine. “She probably gets so high that sometimes she won’t even leave her house.”

He also said her feet were "full of cuts and bruises."

Bynes denied these accusations, saying others brought the drugs and she didn't use them.
