She tried keeping the truth about her financial and business troubles away from her husband, but after a discussion with her mother-in-law, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) will finally come clean with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) about the troubles she is facing with Fenmore's on The Young and the Restless.

After initially wanting to not worry Michael with the truth because of his previous cancer scare and own issues with his career when he was nearly disbarred, Lauren will come clean and tell him everything, hoping it doesn't upset him too much or cause some more unnecessary tension in their lives.

"I have not been honest with you," she says in a preview clip for the Monday, Jan. 9 episode.

Meanwhile, Gloria (Judith Chapman) is using the intel she now has about Lauren's troubles to her advantage, and has contacted Jack (Peter Bergman), who has expressed interest in buying Fenmore's out from Lauren. Now, as she meets with him to scheme behind her daughter-in-law's back, Jack will question what she is really up to and what's in it for her if she secretly partners with him to get the company.

"What's in all of this for you?" Jack asks in the clip.

"A small role in the company," she replies.

"How small?" Jack asks.

Despite some reservations though, Jack will find himself seriously considering partnering with Gloria to get his end goal, even though doing so will also destroy his friendship with Lauren and Michael as well.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
