BBC One's hit drama, Poldark, is one of those television series that are set to come back this year. Bringing to the viewers and fans its newest episodes for the third season, the series will undeniably be one of the most anticipated shows from the network.

It was reported last year on July that BBC One has already renewed the series for a brand new third season that is set to air sometime this year. Following this, speculations about the possible events and scenarios that are likely to happen on the upcoming season have rapidly appeared online.

According to The Week, loyal fans and viewers of the series are going to expect a more intensified and dramatic story on the upcoming season. Furthermore, new members are expected to join the cast that will surely add to the twists and turns of the lives of the characters.

As per the source, actor Sean Gilder will portray the reckless womanizer character Tholly Tregils. Aside from that, actresses Ciara Charteris and Ellise Chappell will also be joining the cast as Emma Tregils and Elizabeth's cousin Morwena, respectively.

Moreover, a report from Digital Spy states that Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) will be seeking her revenge against husband Ross Poldark (Adan Turner) for his infidelity by having an affair with Elizabeth Warleggan (Heida Reed). It was stated that the upcoming episodes will show how the main character's relationship with his present and former lovers can affect the story line of the season.

It can be recalled that when Demelza found out that Elizabeth is carrying a child on her womb, she had a though about Ross being the father. So it would be interesting for the fans to look forward on the scenario when the three would probably finally meet and how they would react to the situation.

Meanwhile, according to a report from Mirror UK, Poldark is set to air the premiere of its third season on autumn this year. So fans expect to see the series once again on September or October.
