Pop heartthrob and superstar Jusin Bieber turns 18 today!

Bieber's rise to fame started on YouTube, where he posted videos of himself singing in 2008. Scooter Braun, who is now his manager, stumbled across the videos and arranged for him to meet with R&B singer Usher.

The Canadian-born teen skyrocketed to fame in 2009 with the release of his first single, "One Time." In 2010, Bieber released his first album, My World 2.0, which topped charts worldwide and went platinum in the US.

Since bursting onto the music scene just a few years ago, Bieber has released two albums and a 3-D movie (Never Say Never), which grossed $12.4 million on opening day.

Bieber's third album, Believe, is set to be released this month. His first single off the album, "Boyfriend," is due out March 26.
